Q1.検定にかかる期間はどのくらいですか。

検定開始の4週間以上前に検定申請をしていただければ、以下の営業日で対応いたします。
※いずれも検定サンプル提出日を除く。

  • カードRF性能検定：10営業日
  • リーダライタRF性能検定：（Ｍクラス）15営業日、（Ｓクラス）10営業日、（ＣＯＴＳクラス）8営業日
  • モバイルFeliCa RF性能検定：8営業日

但し、以下の場合は日程調整をさせていただくことがあります。

  • 年末年始等の長期休暇と検定期間が重なる場合。
  • 検定案件が集中した場合。

Q2.通信検証用ソフトウェアは提供していただけますか。

各検定の通信性能測定用ソフトは以下の通りとなっております。

  • カードRF性能検定
    検定試験所から提供しています。
  • リーダライタRF性能検定
    受検するメーカー様で作成いただき、検定試験所に提供していただきます。
    通信距離測定用ソフトウェアの要求仕様は検定規定書でご確認ください。
  • モバイルFeliCa RF性能検定
    検定試験所から提供しています。

Q3.FeliCa RF性能検定用サンプル品の上限品・標準品・下限品とは何ですか。

共振周波数の上限品・標準品・下限品です。
上限品は共振周波数が出荷範囲上限以上のサンプル、下限品は共振周波数が出荷範囲下限以下のサンプルを指します。

Q4.検定で使用するカード、リーダライタなどの入手方法を知りたいです。

カード、リーダライタを購入して測定を行いたい場合は、下記に記載された特約店にご相談ください。

試験所は検定対象製品を設置してあるセルフ評価ラボを併設しており、お客様がラボを借りて自ら評価を行いご検証して頂くことが可能です。

Q5.型番が未定ですが申請書の提出はできますか。

可能です。
但し、報告書と合格証明証には正式な型名を記載する必要がございますので、検定終了までに、正式な名称を試験所にお知らせください。

Q6.検定受検の申請者は、どの立場となる企業ですか？

検定受検の申請者は、手続きの責任者として検定料金をお支払い頂く企業様とすることをお願いしております。
ODM製品や受検業務請負などの場合は、検定合格書に記載する会社名を変えることでご対応して頂いてます

Q7.【リーダライタ】 ソニー(株)の試験所は複数ありますがどちらで受検したらよろしいでしょうか。

海外のリーダライタメーカーが受検する場合は、アリオン株式会社での受検となります。
国内のリーダライタメーカーが受検する場合は、ソニーグローバルマニュファクチャリング＆オペレーションズ株式会社での受検となります。

Q8.【モバイルFeliCa】 カバー同梱モデルの場合、カバーにモバイル非接触IC通信マークは必要ですか。

カバーへの非接触IC通信マークの記載は必須ではありません。
カバーに非接触IC通信マークを付ける場合は、カバーを装着した状態でも検定を受検する必要があります。
カバーに非接触IC通信マークを付けない場合は、受検メーカー側で、カバーを装着した状態でのFeliCa RF通信性能に影響が無いことを確認してください。

Q10.サンプル提出が遅れた場合は完了日も遅くなりますか。

サンプル提出が遅れる場合は、速やかに試験所にお知らせください。その際に、完了日に関しても確認してください。

Q11.検定で基準を満たさない項目がある場合について。

基準を満たさない試験項目がある場合は、ご連絡させていただきます。
サンプルの改修は認められませんので、検定を最後まで継続するか、検定を中止しサンプルを返却させていただくか、の判断をしていただきます。検定を最後まで継続する判断をした場合は、検定終了後に結果報告レポートをお渡しします。検定を中止した場合は検定を中止した時点の検定結果レポートをお渡しします。いずれの場合でも検定結果は不合格となります。

Q12.【カード/リーダライタ】 合格製品をこのホームページの合格製品一覧に掲載するにはどうすればよいですか。

検定申請時に掲載の有無を選択する項目がありますので選択してください。掲載は無料です。

Q13.【モバイルFeliCa】 事前測定の場合、申請書を提出後に試験項目の追加はできますか？

試験項目を追加する事は当日でも可能です。
尚、追加分の測定料につきましては原則として試験終了後の2週間以内でのご入金をお願いしております。

Q14.モバイル非接触IC通信マークはFeliCa RF性能検定に合格することでもらえるのですか。

Q1.How long does the test period take?

If you apply for the test four weeks or more before the start of the test, we will respond on the following business days.
#All exclude the date of submitting the test samples.

  • Card RF performance certification: 10 business days.
  • Reader/Writer RF performance certification:
    (M class) 15 business days, (S class) 10 business days, (COTS class) 8 business days.
  • Mobile FeliCa RF performance certification: 8 business days.

However, the schedule may be adjusted in the following cases.

  • When the examination period overlaps with the long-term holidays such as Golden Week and year-end.
  • When testing projects are concentrated.

Q2.Can you provide software for communication verification?

The software for measuring the communication performance of each test is as follows.

  • Card RF performance certification
    Provided by the certification laboratory.
  • Reader/writer RF performance certification
    They are prepared by the manufacturer who takes the test and supplied to the certification laboratory.
    Please refer to the certification specification for requirements of the communication distance measuring software.
  • Mobile FeliCa RF Performance certification
    Provided by the certification laboratory.

Q3.What is the upper limit, standard, and lower limit of the sample for FeliCa RF performance certification?

The upper limit, standard, and lower limit of resonance frequency.
The upper limit is the sample whose resonance frequency is greater than or equal to the upper limit of the shipping range. The lower limit is the sample whose resonance frequency is less than or equal to the lower limit of the shipping range.

Q4.We want to know how to obtain the cards, reader/writer used in testing.

Preliminary measurements can be requested at the laboratory.
The laboratory has a self-evaluation laboratory equipped with testing equipment, and customers can rent the lab to perform their own evaluations for verification.
Pre-Measurement Service and Self-Assessment Lab in the Kisarazu Laboratory FeliCa Assessment Lab in the Allion Japan Inc.

Q5.model number is undetermined. Can we submit an application?

Possible.
However, the report and the certificate of acceptance must include the official model name, so please inform the laboratory of the official name by the end of the examination.

Q6.Which company is the applicant for the certification test?

The applicant for the examination is asked to be the company that pays the examination fee as the person responsible for the procedure.
In the case of ODM products or test work contract, we respond by changing the name of the company written in the FeliCa RF Performance Certification issued by Certification Administrator.

Q7. [Reader/Writer] There are several testing laboratories of Sony Corporation. Which one should we take the test?

If reader/writer manufacturers located outside of Japan take the test, they will be tested by Allion Japan.
If reader/writer manufacturers located in Japan take the test, they will be tested by Sony Global Manufacturing & Operations Corporation.

Q8.[Mobile FeliCa] If a model is bundled with a cover, is the cover required a Mobile Contactless IC Communication Mark? Also, if a model is bundled with a cover, do I need to take the test with the cover on?

The description of the Mobile Contactless IC Communication Mark on the cover is not mandatory.
If the cover is marked with the Mobile Contactless IC Communication Mark, it is necessary to take the test both with the cover and without the cover.
If the Mobile Contactless IC Communication Mark is not attached to the cover, the manufacturer shall confirm that there is no effect on FeliCa RF communication performance with the cover attached.

Q10.If it is submitted too late, will the completion date be delayed?

If the sample submission is delayed, promptly notify the laboratory. Check the completion date as well.

Q11.When there are items that do not meet the pass criteria in test.

We will contact you if there are test items that do not meet the criteria.
Since no sample modification is permitted, we will decide whether to continue the test until the end or stop the test and return the sample. When the decision is made to continue the test to the end, the result report is delivered after the test is finished. When the test is aborted, the test result report at the time when the test is aborted is delivered. The test results are rejected in all cases.

Q12.[Card, Reader/Writer] How can we list our certified products on your website?

Select whether or not to post at the time of application for certification, since there are items to be selected. Posting fee is free.

Q13.[Mobile FeliCa] For pre-measurement, is it possible to add test items after submitting an application?

You can add test items on the day as well.
In principle, we would like to accept the additional measurement fee within two weeks after the completion of the test.

Q14.Can we get the Mobile Contactless IC Communication Mark by passing the FeliCa RF Performance Certification?

The mobile contactless IC communication mark is managed by FeliCa Network Co., Ltd., so please contact FeliCa Network Co., Ltd.
